Terms for Elected Officials?
In the world of large retailers, such as Walmart, the company policy is to rotate their buyers every few years. Typically, every couple of years a buyer of their goods is transferred and replaced. This policy helps limit the amount of corruption that could transpire when sellers gain an “advantage” through long term relationships.
Our Government has been infested with politicians that have made 25 + year careers from “public service”. Most of them would be considered wealthy by “normal” standards. Is there any wonder why we witness such behavior from our Government officials? If world class retailers establish policies that limits the term of a position, perhaps there is good reason.

Love extends our soul
A lack of a true, loving partner in our lives may reflect internal needs of self – discovery, a gaining and appreciation of personal respect.
What makes us resonate with passion, care, unselfish giving, and respect?
Many enter “band aide” relationships. “Band -aide relationships typically fail due to one, or both parties’ inability to give freely of themselves or be able to fully accept love.
Many just aren’t ready for the “big time” and fail in the audition.
How much time have we invested in removing the chaos of poor choices?
Love intertwines two souls, naturally.
Working on love itself is overrated. It isn’t necessary when both individuals have “matured” and are prepared for the opportunity to embellish love, having discovered their core needs and what they are willing to accept on their journey.
The ability to give can only come from what one has to offer.
Love is accepting, personal, and perhaps as difficult to explain as life itself.
Enrich the lives of another.
Enrich the love for you, giving yourself the tools necessary to grow your soul. Someone you haven’t met yet is doing the same and is preparing for your greatness, your gift.

The sign reads… 1 in 5 people have skin cancer.
While I was waiting for the Dr. to come through the door, I had time to look around the room. There were the customary items such as a sink, disposable wipes, chair, and the cool chair/bed that lays back as needed (gotta get one of those). As I began reading the signs, it occured to me the amount of diseases and possibilities of death that every human is confronted with daily. Everything we love can also take us away. The most common thing is oxygen. Let’s face it, every breath we take, (isn’t that a song?) leads us closer to our own demise.
We witness daily the arguments/discussions among American citizens as to the efficacy of wearing mask, staying in to save lives, businesses being shut down or mandated to perform certain functions in order to “be allowed” to stay open, etc., etc., etc.
I know people that smoke cigarettes regularly that are advocates for mask wearing. Most likely because they heard somewhere or read an article saying that mask wearing will serve to protect the health of others. Too bad the argument is disqualified when another set of scientists speak and write articles contradicting those views. Tomato or toMAto?
So, when we all choose to drive a vehicle, are we willing to risk the lives of others for our selfish desire to get from point A to point B? How reckless and disrespectful of others can we be? How many know the daily death rates associated with vehicle accidents? I’m sure those wearing mask while driving hope to assure the safety for all, right?
Many of these same folks targeting those that are not a fan of the masks, are regular sunbathers, willing to risk skin cancer…remember the initial statement that 1 in 5 people have skin cancer? Of course, this activity only affects others upon their untimely death…so what the heck, screw science and get out in that sun. Ahhhh yes, the human ability to justify. Just ask Ted Bundy when ya see him.
Americans are seemingly willing to accept the risk they are comfortable with.

Censorship, privacy and freedom are main topics
To say that this period is odd, chaotic, disturbing, enlightening, scary, bizarre…would be an understatement.
With the chaos surrounding our lives, many are bothered about censorship, a destruction of “free speech”.
How so?
Our desires to communicate via an online mechanism is a choice. The actual product we utilize is our choice. Like anything, a company can set forth standards of operations and the consumer chooses to accept those standards, or not.
No matter what we choose to utilize in our lives, it is our choice.
If, or when, we awaken with a bad hangover from overindulging a beverage or two, is it the fault of the manufacturer of that beverage? How dare they create something that causes me to lose control and memory! Sometimes I wish my memory would get lost…another story, perhaps.
Doesn’t a bar tender get to decide when a patron has had too much to drink? The nerve, censoring my drunkenness!!
Does anyone really believe that we have “privacy” in the year 2021? Privacy set sail on a 3 hour tour many years ago.
Do the online communication platforms use our info? Most likely.
It’s also likely that nearly every source on the internet has and can use/sell our information.
Can people, “spies” listen in on your cell phone conversations? Of course.
Do you use your credit card to purchase gas, eat at a restaurant, pay your bar tab, buy a pair of ultra-slick cowboy boots or that dazzling set of pumps?
Many of us speak of how “entitled this new generation is”. Aren’t we, as a society, guilty of that same categorization?
Life is not fair. The internet is not fair. Sickness is not fair.
If we surround our dreams and opportunity on what is fair, it is most likely we will be bitter, disappointed, and most likely despondent and angry.
The fact that most of the world is apathetic and chasing the secular path of temporary gratification, creates a petri dish of disappointment.
For decades, the “good people” have settled into their pursuit of happiness and ignored the “bad people” in pursuit of their version of the same thing.
It is now 2021 and the grand old worldly zit has swollen, ready to be popped. Why are we shocked?
Most of us see videos and seek information that support our chosen path of beliefs, choosing our mountaintop, screaming out to others that “our belief is correct, and you’re a fool for believing what you believe”.
Do two fools grow exponentially through the use of mass communication, the internet?
Before we obsess over our “loss of free speech”, how about we obsess over our years of apathy toward elections, our chosen “leaders” and our overall path that got us to 2021?
A wise ole hillbilly one said, “don’t order a prime rib in a vegan restaurant”.
May we all observe our priorities, what’s important to us.
For many it is a time to hit our knees in prayer, as faith in humans closely aligns with faith on the internet…and we have witnessed how that works.
Time to suck it up and change things…or accept the change that others will bring to us, shaken not stirred, censored or not.

Let go
Release the doubts and fears of unknown
Release the questions of worth
Be the value you desire
There is no other
Your spirit proudly walks within
Look forward, rise your eyes and point your heart high
Weakness is a bridge to faith, understanding, and noble purpose in the work of Christ
Be humble, be weak and grow to understand

Questing 11.22.2020
Pursuit of the peace
Peace in the moment
My spirit demands a flight above the fray of man
An absence of belonging to Earth
The peaceful energy within relays an outer expression of confidence
Not relying on being right, or strongly pushing views
Understand it's unnecessary
Answers aren’t always important
Not always needing to have an answer, is
The answer is sometimes found in the absence of

Truth be Told 11.24.2020
Truth is seen, more than heard
Resonating within silent movement
Vulnerability hidden behind the veil, naked when removed
Truth in eyes and touch as energy transfers the meaning behind our words
Eyes shut protect our soul, blocking unwanted parleys of an unfeeling world
Truth lies within our hidden vulnerabilities, created to prevent the wrath of others
Released by unveiled emotion, sacred security falls to a longing for discovery, appreciation, and the completion through another soul.
